Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said Sh. Lhaimagu Harbour Development Project has reached overall 85% project completion.

MTCC said the revetment profiling work has reached 10% completion.

Scope of works for the project include, 24,343cbm new harbour basin dredging operations, 14,412cbm existing harbour basin dredging operations, 6,000cbm channel dredging operations, 414m quay wall, 350m breakwater, 500m revetment, 50m groyne, ramp, 2291sqm harbour pavement, installation of navigational and harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 60.70 million.
