The third term of the current Parliament will be extended till December 7th.

Starting the parliament session today, Speaker Mohamed Aslam noted that there was important pending work on the 2024 state budget. Hence, the term will be extended till December 7th.

The Speaker further stated that a vote on extending the term will be called for during the session today.
