Minister of Strategic Communications at the President's Office Ibrahim Khaleel confirmed to 'One' today that Munim had been removed from his post.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed Munim as the Minister of State for Tourism at a ceremony held at the President's Office on Tuesday.
A total of 25 ministers of state were appointed along with him at the ceremony. Munim was appointed minister of state for tourism on the same day.
'One' is yet to confirm the reason for his dismissal.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Fahmy Hassan, who was appointed minister of state for foreign affairs on Monday, was also removed yesterday. His appointment has raised many concerns and criticised the government.
