Maldives Police Service has begun the search for a missing woman in Male' City.

Police said on Friday that Aishath Visama, 39, Kadhurumaage/S. Hithadhoo was reported missing on 19 November.

The 39-year-old had travelled to Male' City on 16 November according to her family and the latter has not heard from her since.

Police have appealed to the public to reach out to Police Hotline 3322111 or Hithadhoo Police Station on 9791612 if anyone has any information regarding her.
