President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s cabinet has been sworn in.

The ceremony took place at President’s Office this evening. The oath was administered to the cabinet by Chief Justice Mu’uthasim Adnan.

President Dr. Muizzu’s cabinet comprises of 22 people including the Attorney General. The cabinet has 3 female ministers.

The new administration has some new ministries while some ministries have been merged or separated.

President Dr. Muizzu’s cabinet includes:

  • Moosa Zameer - Minister of Foreign Affairs
  • Ali Ihusaan - Minister of Homeland Security and Technology
  • Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq - Minister of Finance
  • Dr. Ismail Shafeeu - Minister of Education
  • Dr. Abdulla Khaleel - Minister of Health
  • Mohamed Saeed - Minister of Economic Development and Trade
  • Ahmed Shiyam - Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources
