President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's cabinet will be sworn in and presented with letters tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

The President-elect's Cabinet will consist of 22 members, including the Attorney General. They include three female ministers.

Muizzu's government has merged some ministries and separated some ministries while creating two new ministries. They are the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Dhvehi Language.

One has learned that 22 ministers will be sworn in at the President's Office at 7:30 pm tomorrow as President-elect Muizzu and his Vice President Hussain Mohammed Lateef are sworn in.

The cabinet of Dr. Muizzu:

- Planning and Environment Ministry: Thorig Ibrahim

- Gender Ministry: Dr. Aishat Shiham

- Ministry of Transport: Mohammed Ameen (Captain Ameen)

- Foreign Ministry: Moosa Zameer

- Ministry of Defence: Ghassan Maumoon

- Ministry of Local Governance: Adam Shareef Umar

- Fisheries Minister: Ahmed Shiyam

- Ministry of Youth and Technology: Ibrahim Waheed (Asward)

- Ministry of Agriculture: Dr. Aishat Ramila

- Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction: Abdullah Muthalib

- Economic Ministry: Mohammed Saeed

- Ministry of Tourism: Ibrahim Faisal

- Housing Minister: Dr. Haider Ahmed

Dr. Muizzu's goal is to keep the number of government political employees to no more than 700.

President-elect Dr. Muizzu has said that his cabinet will be composed of people who can serve the people closely. All of them are trustworthy and he can speak on them.
