President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has decided to set a "Emmenah Vazeefa" policy in the first 14 weeks of assuming office.

A special event was held at Dharubaaruge this evening to announce the muizzu government's 100-day pledge "Haftha 14". Dr. Muizzu set a target of fulfilling 172 promises in the first 14 weeks of his presidency.

Some of the things Dr. Muizzu plans to do in the first 14 weeks of his presidency include initiating the process of preparing a "master plan" of development for the next 20 years, a "employment policy for all" to create jobs, and the inclusion of many areas of interest and talent for the local youth.

In addition, policies for airport management, auditing, accounting, logistics, and transportation will be formulated to expand the opportunities for Maldivians to move forward, as well as to open up registration within the first 14 weeks of Dr, Muizzu's presidency to create a national list of taxi drivers.

Dr. Muizzu's administration includes the development and launch of a special 'Asseyri Tourism' project for Addu City within 14 days of his presidency. In addition to preparing, announcing and implementing the schedule of a national project for waste management in the islands, and the preparation, announcement and implementation of a coastal protection project in populated islands.
