President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has launched a book outlining his presidential pledges and the first 100-day plan.

The book, "Haftha 14" was launched at a ceremony held at Dharubaaruge on Wednesday night by Transitional leader Abdul Raheem.

The book outlines the 172 pledges Dr. Muizzu made during his presidential campaign and will be made available for the public.

During the ceremony, the first 100-day plan for Dr. Muizzu's administration was announced, which includes forming an agency to market and promote the fisheries sector in the Maldives. Additionally, during the first 100-days, the administration will also further develop MIFCO's role in the fisheries sector as well.

In the first 100-days, Dr. Muizzu's administration aims to bring down the prices of staple foods and fresh produce. The administration will also introduce a wide-body aircraft operation through the national airline. Furthermore, the administration aims to submit a travel agency bill draft to the parliament in the first 100-days as well.

The first 100-day plan also includes introducing "asseyri tourism" in Addu and incorporating a better mechanism for waste management in the islands as well.

The incoming administration also aims to form separate ministries for fisheries and agriculture in the Maldives.
