President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that he will not hide from the citizens and will achieve everything he had promised in a transparent manner.

Speaking at a public meeting at Dharubaaruge to announce his government's 100-day pledge "Haftha 14", Dr. Muizzu said some people were concerned with his decision to bring the 100-day pledges to the public in a book.

"I was told by some people that this is not the right decision, that it is very dangerous. That now I cannot hide from the citizens. I told them I came to the people, and they decided to support me and voted for me. I am not someone who will hide from the citizens. Whatever has been said, everything is in this book and the citizens will see it achieved," Dr. Muizzu said.

He said that his government would be a government that is very transparent with everything and would not hide anything from the public.

Dr. Muizzu said the book "Haftha Saadha" will show everything he has said, and journalists will be there to hold him accountable for he works according to what is in the book. He said the people of the islands will wait to see if he fulfills what he had promised to the islands.

Dr. Muizzu said Friday would begin the journey to protect the country's sovereignty and bring the country's economy back on track. He said that his administration would take infrastructure development to new heights and solve housing. Dr. Muizzu added that he would work with the people and achieve all of that.
