Maldives Police Service has seized a large number of documents last night from RDC for an ongoing investigation.

Police entered RDC office yesterday morning and raided the premises and took away a large number of box files and documents past 2300hrs last night under a court order.

Police said they were in the process of studying the material seized by the RDC office but did not provide further details.

'One' has come to learn that the police are investigating the MVR 13 million petty cash issue that came to light recently in connection with the RDC.

Following the police operation, RDC's Managing Director Moosa Ali Manik sent a message to MDP's WhatsApp group stating that police was trying to make headlines.
