The Government of Maldives has condemned the Israeli bombing of the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that attacks on civilians and civilian areas are in violation of international human rights law and unacceptable.
The statement said Israeli shelling has killed dozens of innocent people in Gaza, while Gaza hospitals, aid facilities, schools and places of worship are being destroyed by attacks.
"We reiterate our call to the international community to take strong action to end the war, and humanitarian assistance must be provided intermittently," the statement said.
The statement further said the government and the people of Maldives will always stand with the Palestinian people.
More than 11,000 Gaza residents have been killed by Israeli attacks so far, and the entire population has been displaced.
