President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has set the official working hours of Ramadan as 9:00am till 1:00pm.

A statement released by the President’s Office on Thursday noted that the President has officially set the working hours as 9:00am till 1:00pm for Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal for the islamic year, 1440.

The President had also appealed everyone to arrange their work schedules in a way which will ensure maximum productivity during official hours.

According to the calendar, the first day of Ramadan is expected to be 6th of May.
