ADK Hospital has announced that they will be rolling out motorcycle paramedic services in the near future.
The announcement came during an event held at the Henveiru Dhandu to celebrate World Health Day. During the event, ADK had showcased the motorcycles and noted that a trained medical officer will be able to easily transport to patients who require urgent medical attention.
Health Minister Abdulla Ameen also participated in the event.
Speaking during the event, Managing Director of ADK, Ahmed Affal said that treatment would now be provided way quicker for dangerous accidents, and added that this may increase the chances of saving lives in fatal accidents.
He added that the services would be improved over time and that a special attention would be given towards making this an exemplary service.
