Maldives Police Service is currently seeking the owner of some dollars that they found at Velana International Airport.

According to the police, the dollars were found at 1828 hrs on July 20 by the zebra cross of the international terminal.

So far, the police have not been able to trace the owner of these dollars. Police did not say how much dollars were found. When contacted by the police media, they remained unavailable for a comment.

The owner of the money is advised to contact airport police number 9400056 and asked to appear before the airport police with a document to know who they are so the money could be handed over.
