With the ballot box placed in United Kingdom beginning voting, all 501 boxes have now begun voting at the Parliamentary Election 2019.

Voting in UK began at 1:30pm Maldives time. By that time, about 117,823 people had voted out of an eligible 264442 eligible voters. With this, the voter turn out for this election has risen up to 44.56%

Voting arrangements are proceeding smoothly, even though four individuals has been arrested in two islands for photographing their ballot papers.

Voting for the election closes at 6:00pm in the Maldives.
