Vice President Faisal Naseem has said that the smooth voting during the Parliament Election 2019 shows that there is room for peaceful activities in the Maldives.

VP Faisal made the statement while speaking to the press after casting his vote at Billoorijehige.

He also urged everyone to come out and vote at the soonest.

Voting for the election closes at 4:00pm today. According to the Election Commission, a total of 90,000 people have voted so far.
