President Mohamed Ibrahim Solih has urged all eligible voters to go and vote for their respective candidates.

President Solih made the statement while speaking to the press after casting his vote at Jamaaluddin School.

He added that the voting arrangements were very good, and expressed his satisfaction over how smoothly the election was proceeding.

“We’re seeing everyone coming and voting very independently. I urge as many people as possible to come out and vote today,” he added.

Voting closes today at 1600 hours.
