President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has begun his door-to-door campaign for the presidential elections 2023.

President Solih visited the residences in Galosh constituency on Wednesday to meet with the residents. He was accompanied by his Male' City campaign manager and Defence Minister Mariya Ali Didi, South Galolhu MP Mikhail Naseem, and South Henvieiru MP Hussain Shaheem.

Speaking to the media during the door-to-door event, Minister Mariya stated that President Solih has a lot of support from the public. She added the campaign revealed the most unexpected supporters.

Mariya added that they are confident that President Solih will win the majority votes in Male' City.

MP Hussain Shaheem told the media that Male' city residents have voted in a lot of administrations in the hopes of betterment but that over the past 50 years, not much has improved for the citizens in the capital.

"No president apart from President Solih has considered the issues Male' residents have faced over the years," MP Shaheem said.
