The ruling coalition's leading party, MDP, has relocated its office to a new building in Galolhu.

The party office was previously operating on the second floor of H. Sharasha, opposite the building where the 'Dhivehi Bahuge Academy' is located on Sosan Magu.

MDP Secretariat revealed via Twitter on Wednesday that the party office has been relocated to the second floor of G. Niusha on Lily Magu. The party, however, did not give any reason for the relocation.

While the party's office has changed, the main haruge that the party used to run on Boduthakurufaanu Magu towards Artificial Beach has also been taken over from the party.

It is now run by The Democrats, a party founded by lawmakers who defected from MDP.
