Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) said Sh. Lhaimagu Harbor Development Project is currently underway, with overall 83% project completion.

MTCC said the fourth shipment of rock boulders required for Sh. Lhaimagu Harbor Development Project has been delivered to the project site.

Scope of work for the project includes dredging and excavation operations of 45,090.95 cbm, construction of a 281 m breakwater, a 414m quay wall, a 581m revetment, 75m groynes, construction of a ramp, installation of 2,291sqm pavement and mooring blocks, installation of navigation lights and streetlights.

The project is valued at MVR 60.7 million.
