President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated several development projects in Sh. Foakaidhoo on Sunday.

The projects that were carried out as part of President Solih's presidential pledges. The projects included the development of the water and sewerage network, harbour upgrading, expansion of the football grounds, and extension of the healthcare centre building.

Three ceremonies were held in Foakaidhoo to mark the completion of the projects. The island's water and sewerage networks have been made operational, and the harbour has been upgraded by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). Foakaidhoo's healthcare centre expansion project has also been completed.

During his visit, President Solih celebrated the completion of a solar panel installation project under the ongoing solar photovoltaic (PV) system project.
