President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, who is currently on a visit to Shaviyani Atoll for the upcoming presidential elections, has received a warm welcome in Komandoo

A large number of people had gathered at the port area to welcome President Solih when he arrived on the island today. A meeting has been scheduled to be held to meet MDP members of the island.

In addition to the island, the President is scheduled to visit Maroshi, Noomaraa, and Fokaidhoo.

President Solih is accompanied by Adhaalath Party President Sheikh Imran Abdulla and MDA President Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, who are the leaders of the parties who have made a coalition with MDP for the election.

President Solih will first travel to Komandoo during his visit. After that, he will go to Maroshi and then head to Noomaraa in the afternoon.

The President will visit Fokaidhoo this evening as the final destination of his visit. During his visit to the island, the President will inaugurate the water and sewerage system and inaugurate the island's new health center. He will also inaugurate a football field in the island.

During the president's visit, the president will address the campaign meeting in Fokaidhoo this evening. The meeting will be the first to be held in the atolls to kick-start his campaign.

The President will be accompanied by cabinet ministers, and senior leaders of MDP, MDA, and Adhaalath Party.

The President will arrive in Male' City this evening after concluding his one-day visit.
