Keys have been handed over to the buyers of 'One Central Park Residence' in Hulhumale' Phase I.
The keys were handed over to the buyers at a ceremony held on Friday, by Housing Minister Mohammed Aslam and Managing Director of Sandal Mauritius, Neeraj Gupta.
Sandal Mauritius was awarded the project in 2016 to construct the flats. The company awarded the field work of the project to Rasheed Carpentry and Construction (RCC). Field work on the project began on 26 April 2021.
One Central Park Residence has 120 flats, each with three bedrooms and a bathroom. The building also has a gym, a children’s play area, and an entrance lobby. The flats are priced at MVR 2.2 million each.
At the handover ceremony, Minister Aslam said the government is working to provide housing to the middle class through such projects. He added that 120 people who bought the apartments have completed payments for the flats.
“According to the terms of the loans offered by the lending agencies in the country, 80 per cent of the borrowers have to pay around MVR 20,800,” Aslam said, noting that a three-bedroom apartment is available for rent for the same price in the market.
The One Central Park Residences project is part of a mixed residential development under the government's housing scheme.
