The Democrats' have passed the party's colour and logo on Wednesday night.

The Democrats, founded by Speaker Nasheed's faction from MDP, was given the green light by EC for party registration on 2 July 2023.

The Party's name was unanimously decided by the 481 members in attendance at the party's meeting ongoing at Ghiyaasuddin School. The party's logo and colour were voted on by 473 members.

The Democrats' colour is baby blue and white while the logo is an asterisk designed to incorporate corals and Maldivian palm trees.

The Democrats' party office address - 10th floor of H. Maizaandhoshuge - and flag were voted on by 468 members.
