Maldives Police Service (MPS) has warned that they will be towing vehicles that are illegally parked on Ameenee Magu.
Police on Wednesday stated that vehicles that illegally park on Ameenee Magu cause traffic congestion and various difficulties for pedestrians.
Hence, they noted that after a three-day period of observation, vehicles that are illegally parked on Ameenee Magu will be towed.
Vehicles often park on both sides of the street, causing the usable area to be extremely narrow which contests traffic on the street.
Many members of the public have also been sharing concerns of traffic congestion on the street on various social media platforms.
