Maldivian pilgrim who went missing during Hajj Pilgrimage has been found dead.

Mohamed Naseem Ali, 72, Mala, R. Maakurathu went missing after reaching Mina on the way to Arafat.

Islamic Ministry stated on Friday that Naseem, who went to Hajj pilgrimage with Al-Haramain Hajj and Umrah Company Maldives Pvt Ltd has passed away.

Ministry stated that Naseem went missing after leaving his tent at Mina. The Ministry added that Naseem was already deceased when he was taken to the hospital.

Naseem's family had stated that he suffered from amnesia and has been receiving medical treatment for five years.
