President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has declared coming Sunday, April 7th as a public holiday.

The President’s decision came after deliberating on the matter, since a number of government employees and citizens would be working tirelessly at the Parliamentary Election on Saturday, April 6th.

A statement issued by the President’s Office noted that the President made the decision, as it would mutually benefit everyone involved in the voting process.
