Islamic Ministry has announced Eid prayers will be held in congregation at seven different areas in greater Male' region.

Eid prayer will be held in congregation at:

  • Maafannu Stadium
  • Islamic Centre grounds
  • Masjid Maliki Salman marble grounds
  • Hulhumale' Phase I synthetic track
  • Hulhumale' Phase II cricket stadium
  • Vilimale' football stadium

Islamic Ministry said that although Eid prayer will be held in congregation in seven locations, Eid prayer will also be held at all the mosques in greater Male' region as well.

The Ministry further stated that if prayer congregation cannot be held due to bad weather, the Ministry will make an announcement, and in such an event the Eid prayers will be held in all the mosques that have Friday prayer congregations.

Islamic Ministry advised all prayer-goers to perform ablution before heading for prayers and to carry their own water bottle and a bag for the slippers.
