One Sports team has departed to India's Bangalore for the dedicated coverage of the SAFF Championship 2023, set to kick off on June 21st.

The team includes Sports Editor Imad Latheef and Sports Journalist Mohamed Shamoon.

Sports Editor Imad Latheef will be leading the team. Imad Latheef’s career in journalism began in the year 1993, with Haveeru News. He then moved as an editor to the biggest privately owned media house in the Maldives, vMedia in 2008. Imad is a prominent name when it comes to sports journalism in the Maldives. Imad was also the first full-time journalist who covered sports and world news exclusively. Imad has covered sporting events such as the SAFF Championship, ACC cricket tournaments and even the Olympics, and to this day remains one of the most respected and renowned sports analysts in the Maldives. As such, Imad is always on the team of analysts in the Maldives for the Euro and World Cup championships.

Mohamed Shamoon’s sports journalism began in 2014 with Dhuvas News. He quickly progressed onto become a Copy Editor at sports news, MV Foari, and later worked as a sports journalist at news outlets such as Sun and Vaguthu. He has been working in the sports team of One Online since 2021, he has covered some of the biggest sporting events both nationally and internationally.
