Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Eva Abdulla has stated that the youth needs to vote, even if to keep someone they dislike from the presidency.
Speaking during the 'Youth Practice Parliament' held by the Parliament for the youth, Eva stressed that if you are eligible to vote, you must vote.
Eva highlighted that some youths often say that they will not vote due to a lack of a proper candidate to support. However, Eva stressed that this was not a reason to not vote.
Eva stated that even though the best outcome may not be possible, youth must vote even if to keep someone they dislike from the presidency.
She also noted that the highest percent of youth participation in politics is being observed right now. She added that she does not believe statements such as the youth being disinterested in politics.
