President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed for Singapore on an unofficial visit.
The spokesperson at the President's Office, Miuvan Mohamed revealed to One Online that the President will depart on an unofficial visit to Singapore today. He noted that this trip was related to medical treatment.
Miuvan noted that the President will return to the Maldives on Saturday.
While the President is visiting Singapore today, he had taken a similar unofficial trip to Singapore last October.
The President had taken several trips to Singapore in 2022, with the first being on February 10th for medical reasons. The President concluded that visit and returned back to the Maldives on February 15th. He had once again traveled back to Singapore on February 23rd after having received medical advise for his thyroid treatment.
The President returned back to the Maldives 15 days later, following a thyroid operation.
