Dhiraagu has presented jersey and travel kit to the Maldives Special Olympic World Games 2023 team.

Special Olympics Games - the biggest and most inclusive sports event - will be held from 17-25 June in Berlin, Germany. Maldivian athletes will partake in running and badminton.

The jersey and travel kits were presented to the athletes by Dhiraagu Chief Commercial Officer Ali Riyaz, at a ceremony held at Maldives National Sports Institute on Thursday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Special Olympics Maldives Chairperson Aminath Shaina Abdulla extended gratitude to Dhiraagu for their support to the athletes.

"I would like to highlight Dhiraagu Special Sports Festival. The festival enabled a lot of our athletes to get into sports and be more confident in their skills," Shaina said.
