Shaneez appointed as High Court Judge

Mohamed Shaneez Abdulla has been appointed a judge to the High Court of the Maldives.

Shaneez has completed a Bachelor of Sharia and Law from the College of Islamic Studies and a Masters of Sharia and Law (specializing in Criminal Law) from Villa College.

Shaneez has worked in the legal profession for over nine years and has served as a lawyer and magistrate. Shaneez is serving as the magistrate at Gaafu Dhaalu Gahdhoo Magistrate Court at the time of his appointment.

Supreme Court Justice Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim administered the oath of office for Shaneez during a ceremony held at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
