Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said Sh. Narudhoo Harbour Development Project is well underway.

MTCC said the first shipment of precast concrete blocks required for quay wall construction have been delivered to the site.

Scope of work for the project include 51,212cbm of harbour dredging operations, 4,120cbm of channel dredging operations, construction of 371m breakwater, a 205m revetment, a 210m quay wall, installation of 955sqm harbour pavement, construction of a ramp and installation of harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 41.34 million.
