The Ministry of Finance and Treasury has decided to disburse the salaries of all government workers by June 22nd.

A circular issued by the Ministry on Tuesday noted that since President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has declared June 25th till June 29th public holidays on the occasion of Hajj Day and Eid-Al-Adha, the last day to process salaries by the Ministry will be June 22nd.

The circular requested to submit salary vouchers using the relevant accounting softwares by June 19th.

Hajj Day falls on June 27th this year. Even though the holidays start from June 25th onwards, MMA has decided to keep banks open on June 26th.
