Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that they have complete 59 percent of works of the Kaafu Atoll Kandu OiyGiri Harbor Development Project.

The company noted that the project is well underway, having completed construction of revetment.

According to MTCC, the scope of works include, harbor dredging operations of 10,000cbm, channel dredging operations of 10,000cbm, construction of a 125m quay wall, a 265m breakwater, a 63m revetment, installation of harbor pavement, harbor lights and navigational lights.

The value of the project is MVR 36.13 million.
