A fireworks display is set to be hosted in Addu City Hithadhoo tonight to celebrate the developmental projects in the city.

According to the Addu City Council, the fireworks show will take place from the Addu City Square.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih began a three-day visit to the city to inaugurate several developmental projects and visit some of the project sites.

During this trip, he inaugurated the Addu Land Reclamation Project and will also inaugurate the Gan International Airport Expansion Project.

He had also visited the sites of Addu Road Development Project.
