Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to implement Gdh. Thinadhoo Industrial Zone Land Reclamation and Shore Protection Project.

MTCC's CEO Adam Azim and Ms. Fathimath Shana Farooq, DG, of the Ministry signed the agreement. Thinadhoo constituency MP Abdulla Saneef attended the ceremony.

Scope of work for the project include industrial zone land reclamation operations of 3 hectares, revetment backfilling of 32,647 cbm, construction of a 254m revetment, a 89m precast reinforced concrete retaining wall, installation of navigational and harbour lights, installation of timber jetty (47m x 3m), picnic island land reclamation operations of 2 hectaces, construction of a 474m revetment and 50m groyne at picnic island.

The project is valued at MVR 53.41 million.
