AA. Ukulhas Harbor Development Project is currently underway, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said.

MTCC said quay wall construction and harbour pavement installation work have been completed, and harbour dredging operations have reached 97% completion.

Scope of work for the project include harbour dredging operations of 4,954cbm, construction of a 5m breakwater, a 484m revetment, a 264m quay wall, a connectivity bridge, a concrete jetty and an apron, installation of 1,640sqm harbour pavement and installation of harbour lights.

The project is valued at MVR 40.3 million
