Bank of Maldives announces Board Directors and Chairperson

Bank of Maldives has announced the appointment of new Directors and the Chairperson to its Board of Directors.

With these appointments, the Directors nominated by the Government and appointed to the Board are:

1. Mr. Karl Stumke (Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director)

2. Mr. Yooshau Saeed, H. Sandy Beach

3. Ms. Aishath Noordeen, M. Thaangeedhoshuge

4. Ms. Juwairiya Saeed, Ma. Kosheege

5. Mr. Abdulla Hassan, Naseemaa Manzil, R. Alifushi

6. Mr. Abdulla Husam Shareef, Dhiguvaandu, Savaa, Gn. Fuvahmulah

7. Ms. Aishath Sajnee, Tharividhaage, S. Hithadhoo

The three Directors elected by public shareholders are:

1. Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed, Nelum, N. Holhudhoo

2. Mr. Ahmed Mohamed, G. Ufaa

3. Mr. Abdulla Naseem, Karankaa Villa, H.A. Filladhoo

Bank of Maldives also announced the reappointment of Mr. Yooshau Saeed, H. Sandy Beach, as the Chairperson of its Board of Directors.
