A magazine in Arabic language has been launched, in a bid to promote Maldives to the Arab market further.

The magazine titled 'Al Juzr' received a soft launch by Tourism Minister, Mr. Ali Waheed during a ceremony at the Tourism Ministry on Monday.

Speaking during the event, Minister Waheed noted that the magazine was published by local company, Comfort Travel & Tours. He noted that it was essential to increase Arab tourists in order to expand Islamic tourism in the country. He added that the government itself is also working towards that common goal.

“We are working towards focusing more on markets that may have been neglected in the past as well,” Minister Waheed added.
