Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the full shipment of rock boulders for the Shaviyani Atoll Komandoo Shore Protection Rectification and Mathi-Komandoo Connectivity Project has been delivered to the project site.

The company further revealed that the existing revetment rectification work has reached 52% completion.

According to MTCC, the scope of works involve, reclamation operations of 16.7 hectares and connecting Komandoo and Mathi Komandoo with a 200m link, 1,690m of shore protection rectification.

The value of the project is MVR 235.75 million.
