MNP presents Presidential Ticket to Nazim

Maldives National Party (MNP) on Friday night presented their Presidential Ticket to party President, Mohamed Nazim.

The ticket was presented to Nazim during a special ceremony held at the Artificial Beach. Following the presentation of the ticket, Nazim officially unveiled his campaign logo and launched his campaign titled 'Ujaalaa Zamaan'.

MNP opened applications for their ticket on December 1st till December 14th. Nazim was the sole contender by the end of the deadline.

MNP is notable as a party that has achieved many successes in a short period of time. They had also contested in the Komandoo by-election, while several candidates of the party have been elected to WDC seats.

According to the Elections Commission website, MNP ranks in as the fourth largest party in the Maldives with a total of 9,838 members.
