MACL awards Hajj Sponsorship to selected employees

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has awarded the Hajj Sponsorship letters to the selected employees.

The letters were handed over at a ceremony held on Thursday by MACL's Managing Director Mahjoob Shujau.

MACL has sponsored Hajj trips for employees prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.

MACL said the employees were selected based on their service time at the company and how exemplary the staff has been in their duties.

The Hajj trip is sponsored as a way of appreciating the staff's commitment to MACL, the company said. MACL has been in discussions with the relevant authorities since 2022 to resume the Hajj Sponsorship.

MACL said the company has been granted 5 slots from Islamic Ministry for this year.
