Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed an agreement with Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to implement F. Bilehdhoo Harbour Development Project.
The agreement was signed by MTCC's CEO Adam Azim and Ms. Zeeniya Hameed, Permanent Secretary on behalf of Ministry.
MP Ahmed Haleem graced the ceremony.
Scope of work for the project include harbour basin dredging operations of 45,100 cbm, channel dredging operations of 2900cbm, construction of a 419m breakwater; a 620m revetment; a 258m sand-filled breakwater outer revetment; a 224m sand-filled breakwater inner revetment, construction of a ramp (11m x 11m); a concrete jetty (133m x 2m); installation of harbour lights; a 2977 sqm pavement and 617m kerbs.
The project is valued at MVR 66.96 million.
