Maldives Police Service (MPS) announces job opportunities.

In an announcement made on Sunday, MPS said that police constable job opportunities are open with a salary of MVR 11,810. The basic salary is MVR 4,650 with a service allowance of MVR 5,000 and non-practice allowance of 40% of basic salary, MPS said. Constables also get a uniform allowance of MVR 300 as well.

Candidates applying for the job need two 'C' passes in SSC exams two 'C' passes in IGCSE exams. Candidates with equivalent academic transcripts can also apply for the job, MPS said.

MPS added that candidates should be between 18-30 years of age. Men are required to have a height of at least 5'3" and women should be at least 5' in height, MPS said.

Job application opportunities are open until 2nd June 2023. Application documents are available at police stations in the islands and police headquarters as well.

Applications will be accepted during weekdays between 1400-1600hrs, MPS said.
