Maldives Democratic Party (MDP)'s flag has been hoisted in all the islands across Maldives to commence President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's presidential election campaign.

The flags were hoisted during MDP's 'Raajje Dhathuru' to put together MDP's manifesto for the elections.

MDP's Chairperson Fayyaz Ismail Tweeted on Friday that flags have been hoisted in all the islands and the campaign teams are ready. He added that MDP will win the elections in the first round.

MDP's Spokesperson Anas Abdul Sattar stated that efforts are underway to put up President Solih's campaign posters in al the islands as well.

MDP held the flag hoisting at 1600hrs on Friday evening, with a team of over 400 members traveling across the nation.
