Police seize large amounts of drugs submerged in the sea.

Police said on Thursday that the drugs were found near Filitheyo in F. Atoll after an operation following intelligence on the matter.

The seized drugs have been taken into police custody and the matter is currently under further investigation.

Police did not specify the type of drugs or the amount they found submerged in the sea. Nor did they give any details regarding how deep the drugs were submerged in the sea.
