Urbanco and Business Centre Corporation (BCC) sign agreement to develop and operate a co-working space in Hulhumale' container park.
The co-working space will cater to small and medium enterprises to provide a holistic working environment.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Urbanco by Managing Director Ahmed Athif while State Minister of Economic Ministry signed on behalf of the Ministry. BCC's Managing Director Fazleena Fakir signed on behalf of BCC.
The container park is being developed behind Red Wave Mega Mall in Hulhumale' Phase I. The co-working space in the park would be the second of its kind in the Maldives. Urbanco also plans to develop two cafe's in the park and have announced for interested parties to submit proposals.
Urbanco stated that such co-working spaces will provide convenience for new, small, and medium enterprises who do not have office space.
Urbanco added that the aim of developing a co-working space is to develop Hulhumale' further and provide more opportunities for the working youth.
