Maldives Democratic Party (MDP) is set to raise their flag in all of the islands ahead of the upcoming Presidential Election.
Members and representatives of the party will also be traveling to various atolls and islands this weekend. This will include constituency presidents as well as party parliamentarians.
Speaking during a press conference at the party office today, Ibrahim Waheed revealed that about a thousand members will be active in the atolls to prepare for the manifesto of the party.
He noted that about 400 people from Malé City and about 600 people from the atolls will be active in these works.
Waheed further highlighted that about 84 members had already departed to the islands, adding that their parliamentarians will also be traveling to their respective constituencies following the parliament session today.
The members will also be continuing door-to-door activities and membership drives during the trips.
